WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOPS - are just that, opportunities to develop our understanding through working sessions that teach us new ways of thinking and exposes us to new approaches to common problems. Workshop experiences cause us to grow as individuals, as couples, and possibly as a team. There are two unique workshop experiences that the Northern Group provides. 1) The Six-Week Marriage Makeover - challenges couples to remember that regardless of the stress and strains of life that challenge our relationships when we remember that we can still have fun with our spouse we create space for the relationship to breathe. The workshop encourages couples to re-engage with a common ground where healing and reconciliation can be replanted and grow their relationship again even stronger than before. 2) The Body Confidence Challenge - encourages participants to take a deep look at their current paradigms surrounding their body's appearance. Body image is a psychological concept that impacts our confidence based on our belief of how others view our appearance. The workshop endeavors to help participants separate the confidence they have in themselves from their looks. Looks change, opinions change, people change and these represent an inconsistent foundation to root one's belief in their ability to create positive change in daily life and in their world. Join the Northern Group as they lead community leaders, corporate employees, teachers, government workers, and even youth through exercises and activities that free their minds from the media-induced body images that consume their confidence.
